3rd Week of SeptemberA religious festival honoring
the feast day of Our Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia,
the Patroness of the Bicol Region. Its highlight
is the fluvial procession along the Naga River. It
is a nine-day long of series of activities which
starts from Translacion.

A street dance characterized by
the movements of the cock accompanied by original
Samareno musical instruments. With thrums up to
form like "tahod." The performers wear
costumes inspired by the appearance of the cock.

This is a commemoration of the
feast day of the town’s Patron Saint, St.
Michael the Archangel, and at the same time a
rediscovery of the town’s cultural heritage. The

on Easter.
"BANKATHON": Skills and

activities and capped with a SOLOLO Street
Dancing, depicting the marriage rituals of the
Siquijodnons.

A re-enactment in manner of
street dance of the transfer of the image of Our
Lady of Peñafrancia from the Basilica, her home
shrine, to the Metropolitan Cathedral borne on the

River.
